Help Quincy Bloom! 🌸

The hanging flower baskets that brighten downtown Quincy and East Quincy each summer are the result of a true community effort. Projects like this take cooperation, participation, and commitment from many people who care deeply about keeping Quincy beautiful.

The Quincy Chamber of Commerce first helped support the project in 2018 by assisting with advertising and promotion. In 2020, thanks to the incredible generosity of the Estate of Captain Carl, funds were used to replace aging baskets and add several new ones throughout town—bringing the total to 70 beautiful hanging baskets.

These baskets are specially designed with built-in reservoirs and insulation to help retain water and keep the flowers thriving throughout the growing season.

Since 2021, the Quincy Chamber has proudly taken on full management of the program. Each year, the baskets are delivered to Country Gardens in Standish in October, where they are stored and replanted for the next season. In May, they return to Quincy and East Quincy to be installed and enjoyed by the entire community.

Throughout the summer, the baskets are carefully watered and maintained to keep them vibrant and healthy. Special thanks go to Kevin Davis for the use of his water trailer and Wild Hare Signs for providing the beautiful plaquesthat recognize supporters.

This beloved program continues to flourish because of community generosity.

Your support helps keep Quincy blooming all summer long.
